Worthing Restaurant, Indigo Seafood and Grill, Awarded AA Rosette

I’m delighted to announce that one of my clients, Worthing restaurant, Indigo Seafood and Grill, has been awarded an AA Rosette for a tenth year by a panel of judges for its culinary excellence. It’s the only restaurant in Worthing ever to hold this award.

AA Rosettes are awarded to restaurants that demonstrate consistently high standards in delivery and careful attention to their selection of ingredients. The inspection itself is unannounced and conducted incognito.

Winning an award provides a highly credible third-party endorsement for a business, not to mention free PR and marketing. It’s also a benchmark with others in your industry. In the UK restaurant industry, only 2,000 are awarded an AA Rosette. This represents less than 2.5% of the UK restaurant industry, and I think puts the achievement of my client into context.

Asked about what winning this award meant, Director, Simon Margaroli said: “To say that we are delighted is an understatement, I am very proud that we have won an AA Rosette for a tenth time for the excellence of our food. I would like to thank the whole team for their commitment and effort.”

Head Chef, Luca Mason trained under David Miller, former Head Chef at the Ritz, at Tottington Manor and worked at The Grand Hotel Brighton. Luca said: “This is an exciting time to be a restaurant in Worthing and at the forefront of the developing food scene. We are fortunate to have the finest meat, seafood, vegetables and fruits to work with, and it’s a pleasure to create dishes with such excellent Sussex produce.”

There’s an emerging food scene in Worthing – especially with the launch of Masterchef winner, Kenny Tutt’s new restaurant, Pitch. I’m delighted that my client is at the forefront of this movement and setting the standard for culinary excellence.
