Charlotte's journey began in the 1990s while traveling in Asia, where she immersed herself in yoga, meditation, and healthy eating. Upon returning to the UK, she found herself craving chocolate that aligned with her values—without refined sugars and with exceptional taste. When she couldn't find what she wanted, she began creating her own raw cacao treats.
What started as personal creations shared with friends and family evolved into small sales to shops in Brighton's Lanes, at markets, and festivals like Glastonbury. But despite passionate customers and a listing with a wholesaler, Charlotte faced a critical challenge: with just 10% of sales coming from online channels, her growth had plateaued.
Working together, we developed her ecommerce capabilities and diversified her revenue streams. When the pandemic hit, Charlotte was perfectly positioned to launch a subscription service that saw sales soar by 70%. As the price of cacao continued to rise, we protected her business by strategically diversifying her product range.
Today, Charlotte's business not only provides exceptional raw chocolate products but also supports tree-planting projects across the world—creating environmental impact alongside commercial success.
